Ebenezer Akinsanmiro: Austin Eguavoen reacts to Inter Milan signing of Remo Stars wonderkid

TTechnical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Austin Eguavoen, has reacted to the signing of 18-year-old Ebenezer Akinsanmiro by Inter Milan.

The teenager, who is an academy product of Remo Stars academy side Beyond Limits has signed a four-year deal.

He was part of the team that helped Remo Stars gain promotion from the Nigeria National League to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the 2020–2021 season. Ebenezer played for the Beyond Limits academy team in the Creative Championship and the Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament.

Eguavoen, who coach the Super Eagles to the 2022 AFCON tournament has congratulated Remo Stars for the player’s move, saying that the move is a huge win for Nigeria.

The former Bendel Insurance of Benin player  said this on his verified Twitter handle, adding that the move was what he has long expected from Nigerian clubs.
