Egypt 2023: Flying Eagles to camp outside Nigeria for U20 Afcon tourney

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF is considering setting up a foreign training camp for Flying Eagles in readiness for their 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations.
The U20 AFCON billed to get underway next Month will see Nigeria slugging it out in Group A against hosts nation, Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique.

The Federation, according Head Coach of the team, Ladan Bosso is planning to set up camp in either Morocco or Spain.

“We will leave Nigeria by the end of January for our training camp,” disclosed Bosso.
The overseas camp will come in handy for Bosso team to acclimatise and be in the almost same weather condition as the one in Egypt during the U20 AFCON.
The Flying are expected to will resume to camp in Nigeria on Saturday when the foreign based professionals will join the squad to battle for team places.
The tourney will kick off February 19 in Cairo where the last four teams will automatically qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia later in the year.
The Flying Eagles have won the U20 AFCON title record seven-time and reached the final at the global stage twice.
