Emem Eduok Shines with Winning Goal as Omeruo Steadies Kasimpasa in Turkish Super League Triumph

Nigerian forward Emem Eduok showcased his striking prowess, securing the winning goal for Kasimpasa in a commanding 2-0 victory against Karabukspor in the Turkish Super League on Monday. The match also witnessed a solid defensive performance from Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo, who, like Eduok, completed a full 90 minutes.
Franck Etoundi set the tone for Kasimpasa with an early goal in the 58th minute, laying the foundation for Eduok’s decisive strike in the 72nd minute, securing the 2-0 triumph. The win propelled Kasimpasa to the 12th position on the league table, amassing 15 points in the competitive 18-team league.
This victory marked Kasimpasa’s second triumph on the road this season, following their impressive 3-1 opening day win against Alanyaspor. Eduok, a former Dolphins of Port Harcourt player, has been instrumental in Kasimpasa’s success, notching up two goals in 10 league appearances this season.
