EPL: Emmanuel Dennis opens Premier League account for Nottingham Forest

Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis scored his first Nottingham Forest goal on his full debut in a 1-1 home draw against Aston Villa on Monday night.
The former Watford striker scored in the 15th minute with a fine header to beat Martinez in goal for Villa. Dennis was fouled and a freekick was awarded, then fellow summer signing, Gibbs-White sent in a sublime cross into the box and Dennis nodded home brilliantly.
This goal came as relief to Dennis after being on the losing side in five games for Forest. Before the game, Dennis was on an 11-gane losing streak in the competition, five with Nottingham Forest and six with Watford, where he scored 10 goals in the season.
He also has the Premier League record for ending on the losing side in his last 14 Premier League home matches. He had just two wins in his last 19 home games in the EPL.
After his goal, he was isolated for some time, with Villa having most of the ball possession. Ashley Young restored parity for the visitors as the game got into its strides, with Gerrard and Cooper involved in exchange of words on the sidelines.
Dennis came close again from another free-kick from Gibbs-White but the striker could not get his head to it and the ball went over for a goal kick. Dennis was replaced in the 71st minute by Sam Surridge.
