Head Coach of Fulham, Marco Silva has expressed disappointment over numerous scoring opportunities created by Alex Iwobi in their English Premier League, EPL opening day loss to Manchester United.
The Cottagers surrendered to a slender 1-0 loss to Manchester United thanks to late goal from substitute Josh Zirkzee.
It was a match Fulham could have gotten at least a point from number of chances created but fluffed them including few from Iwobi.
Silva said the result would have been different had his players converted their chances.
“There were chances for Man United, we had some moments too, two against one, with Andreas Pereira and Alex Iwobi against Maguire that we should have done much better.
“Four against two, three against two, so many counterattacks that with better decision, we have to create clear chances in that moment,” the manager said after the match.
Fulham will be hoping to bounce back on time in their next game against Leicester City at Craven Cottage.
