Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will not be available for selection in their upcoming Premier League clash against Wolves.
Ndidi, who has not featured for the Foxes since sustaining an injury during their 2-2 draw against Brighton earlier this month, also missed last weekend’s heavy 4-0 defeat to Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old midfielder is currently undergoing rehabilitation, with van Nistelrooy revealing that Ndidi is still not ready to return to action.
“Wilfred is in his rehab. He’s not on the pitch, so he’s still not available for selection,” said the former Manchester United striker.
So far this season, Ndidi has made 15 league appearances for Leicester City.
