Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has urged his Leicester City teammates to focus on the positives from their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and use them to improve in their upcoming matches.
The Foxes were beaten by the Gunners on Saturday, with a brace from Mikel Merino securing the victory for Arsenal in the English Premier League encounter.
Despite the defeat, Leicester put up a determined and resilient performance, particularly in the first half.
Ndidi emphasized that the team must take the lessons from the game and build on the positive aspects ahead of their next fixture.
“It’s just something that we need to take into the next one,” Ndidi said, speaking on the club’s official website.
“Everyone is in it, and we know the position that we are in at the moment. We did well, to be honest, playing against a tough team. I think it’s just that we have to take the positives forward to the next game.”
The Super Eagles vice-captain’s focus is on improving and remaining optimistic as Leicester City prepare to face Brentford in their next EPL encounter on Friday.
The English team will be looking to bounce back and secure crucial points in their fight for survival.
