Head coach of Nigeria senior men’s national team, Éric Sékou Chelle attended his first league match in Nigeria on Wednesdays.
The former Mali coach watched Ikorodu City FC’s 2-1 win over Plateau United.
He was gifted a jersey by Ikorodu City.
Chelle is also expected to attend Remo Stars match with Kwara United on Thursday.
The coach is perfecting strategy to pick players ahead of next months FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda and Zimbabwe next month in a bid to revive hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
They have three points from four games behind Rwanda, Benin Republic, and South Africa on the log.
