Premier League side Everton are preparing a €15 million (approximately ₦27 billion) bid for Nigerian international Moses Simon, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The 29-year-old winger, currently plying his trade at Ligue 1 club FC Nantes, has attracted interest from the Toffees, who have reportedly sent scouts to La Beaujoire to monitor his performances closely.
Simon, known for his pace and creativity, has been a consistent performer in France and remains a key figure for the Super Eagles.
With Everton currently sitting mid-table in the Premier League, the club is prioritizing attacking reinforcements, and Simon is seen as a strong candidate to bolster their forward line.
FC Nantes, however, are said to be holding out for the full €15 million fee—above the winger’s current market valuation of around €12 million—as they weigh up their own transfer plans.
Whether Everton will meet Nantes’ asking price remains to be seen, but the potential move underlines the Merseyside club’s ambition to add experience and quality to their squad this summer.
