Nigeria’s U-20 women’s national team will kick off their campaign at the 2025 West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Girl Cup with a high-profile clash against defending champions Ghana.

WAFU-B released the tournament calendar on Wednesday.

The encounter, a repeat of the 2024 African Games final, is scheduled for November 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time in Benin Republic.

A day later, the Falconets will face hosts Benin Republic, also with a 10:00 a.m. kickoff, before taking on Ghana again on November 11 in the reverse fixture.

Moses Aduku’s side will then wrap up their campaign on November 12 with a second meeting against Benin Republic.

This year’s edition features three participating teams and introduces a home-and-away round-robin format, with the team amassing the most points emerging as champion.
