Femi Ajilore, Patrick Bassey elected into FCT Football Association

Two former Nigeria internationals Femi Ajilore and Patrick Bassey have been elected into the board of the FCT Football Association.

The two former Super Eagles players have joined the host of ex-internationals that have turned football administrators in the bid to change the fortunes of the game across the country.

A former skipper of El Kanemi Warriors, Bassey swept the 12 accredited voters votes to win a seat at the FCT FA.

It wasn’t a rosy ride for former Flying Eagles star, Ajilore who faced a heavy contest as he was able to garner seven votes to defeat his opponent who got five votes.

Former NFF Presidential aspirant, Adam Mouktar Mohammed won his reelection bid as the chairman of the FCT FA.

The FCT FA is saddled with the responsibility of handling all football related matters in Abuja.
