FIFA U20 World Cup: Bukola Saraki lauds Flying Eagles for Argentina’s triumph

Former Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki has sent his heartfelt congratulations to the Nigeria U20 team for their outstanding victory against Argentina at the ongoing World Cup.
Ladan Bosso-led team picked up a historic 2-0 victory over hosts Argentina at the Estadio San Juan on Wednesday night.
Second-half goals from Ibrahim Muhammad and Haliru Sarki powered the West Africans to their first-ever win over the Argentines at this level.
And Saraki lauded the team’s performance despite the obstacles.
“Woke up to the news that despite all the obstacles faced before the match, our Flying Eagles have advanced to the Round of Eight in the #U20WC! Congratulations boys! #SoarFlyingEagles,” he tweeted on his official page.
Following their progression, the West Africans will face off with South Korea in the quarterfinal of the competition.
