Flamingos regroup after New Zealand thriller, shift focus to Paraguay test

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

After Friday’s seven-goal thriller against New Zealand, Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team had a quiet morning to rest and recharge.

The team later held a light recovery session in the afternoon as they gradually eased back into rhythm ahead of their final warm-up game.

There are no injury concerns in camp, with all players declared fit and focused for Tuesday’s friendly against Paraguay.

The girls will enjoy a brief rest on Sunday morning before returning to the pitch for an evening training session at 5pm, as preparations continue for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
