Flying Eagles gear up for 2025 U20 AFCON with friendly matches in Egypt

The Nigeria U20 national team, Flying Eagles, is set to play two friendly games in Egypt ahead of the 2025 CAF U20 African Nations Cup.
Head Coach Aliyu Zubairu revealed that the team will face two opponents in friendly matches on April 23rd and 26th.
Although the opponents are yet to be finalized, Zubairu assured that the Nigeria Football Federation is in talks with potential teams and will ensure adequate preparation for the tournament.
The Flying Eagles are grouped with Tunisia, Kenya, and Morocco in Group B.
With six previous titles, Nigeria aims to win the competition for the seventh time. The top four teams will qualify for the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup.
