Francesca Ordega scored two goals for Russian Supreme Division Women’s side, CSKA Moscow as they thrashed Ryazan 5-0 during a League encounter on Saturday.
The Nigerian forward inspired her side to a comprehensive win as she opened the scoring in the 48th minute after a goalless first half.
The goal spurred her team to score more goals with Tatiana Petrova making it 2-0 two minutes after the first goal.
Ordega completed her brace in the 66th minute before Sofiya Shishkina’s strike put the game out of the host’s reach.
Iuliia Pleshkova compounded their woes with the fifth goal of the match in the 81st minute.
Her brace increased Ordega’s tally to nine after seven league games this season.
CSKA Moscow maintained their leadership position on the log with 44 points after 16 games despite playing a game more than second-placed Zenit with 41 points.
They will battle it out against Krasnodar in their next league game on August 24, 2024.
