By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Nigeria forward Francisca Ordega scored her first-ever goal for Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League side, Al Ittihad, on Saturday.

The goal was not enough as the host suffered a 3-1 loss to Al Hilal.

Zala Mersnik’s own goal opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute of play.

Oedega restored parity for Al Ittihad in the 69th minute but that lasted two minutes.

Manar AlEnezi restored Al Hilal’s lead in the 71st minute.

Jessica Martinez sealed the win with Al Hilal’s third goal of the game in the additional minutes of the second half.

Ordega, who joined Al Ittihad from CSKA Moscow, played her first game last week during a loss alongside the captain of the team and compatriot, Ashleigh Plumptre.

Al Ittihad occupy the seventh position on the log with 15 points after 13 games.
