“From the streets of Nigeria to the World’s History books” – Drogba hails Osimhen

Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend, Didier Drogba has showered praises on Victor Osimhen for his incredible season with Napoli.

The Nigerian superstar is phenomenal for Napoli in their journey to win their first Scudetto since 1990 as they were officially crowned Serie A champions after their 1-1 draw at Udinese as he scored the title-winning equalizing goal.

Suring Partenopei had an elaborate post-game celebration at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium when they welcome the winning team home.

And during the celebration, the 24-year-old Nigerian striker was at the center of celebration from where he posted a picture on his Twitter page and captioned it “greatness.”

And the former Galatasaray quoted Osimhen’s tweet, acknowledging the implied greatness, congratulating him for making history, and congratulating Napoli for their third-ever Serie A triumph.

“Indeed Capo @victorosimhen9 from the streets of Nigeria to the World’s History books,” the Ivorian wrote on his twitter account.
