Fulham manager, Marco Silva has thrown his weight behind Alex Iwobi to shine at the Craven Cottage.
The Nigeria midfielder made his move to the Cottagers from Everton on the summer transfer deadline day.
Following his arrival, Silva is glad to see Iwobi get his first action at the club and backed him to shine at club.
“Nice to see Timothy impress out of his natural position, even if he can play left or right. He can play both sides so well and he’s a great addition for us, definitely,” Silva told the club website.
“Nice to see Alex come in and get his first minutes. They are going to improve for sure, the way we play is going to make them better players for sure. We’re really happy to have them.”
The former Arsenal star was thrown into the fold in the 62nd minute against Luton Town as he contributed to his side 1-0 victory.
Fulham are ranked ninth on the English Premier League with seven points from five matches.
