Full schedule of activities as Nigeria receive 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy

The FIFA Women’s World Cup will be on display in Abuja on Sunday following it arrival in Nigeria on Saturday.
In a schedule of activities, exclusively obtained by NigeriaFootball,ng, confirm a visit to the Anglican Girls’ School, Abuja will kick of the program of events lined up for the trophy display.
At the Girls Schools, a public event will be held to inspire girls with the Women’s World Cup trophy, that should they decide to take to football, there is indeed a magnificent diadem to clinch at the highest level.
The trophy tour team would also pay a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Sports office inside the National Stadium Complex before a special session, Young Talents showcase involving a brief interview with invited young-girl players on their dreams.
In aftermath, a press conference hold at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja before a video documentary on women’s football development in Nigeria, followed by a remark from the High Commissioner of Australia.
From 1:30 pm, there would be public viewing and photo session with the trophy before its departure in the evening as the silverware will be on display at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja with a photo session planned for a number of invited guests.
Already, the coveted prize has been earlier taken to the three other African participating countries that will compete at the global finals, Morocco, South Africa, and Zambia.
Nigeria is the fourth leg of the 32-leg journey that the Trophy will undertake, before heading to Australia and New Zealand – the two countries that are the joint hosts of the biggest FIFA Women’s World Cup in history.
