Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have reached a €75 million agreement with Napoli for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, pending final approval from the Italian club.
The deal, struck after two days of intense negotiations, will see Galatasaray pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million spread across three years in structured installments.
Napoli, however, have insisted on receiving a bank guarantee to secure the deferred payments. According to sources close to the deal, Galatasaray has agreed to issue the required guarantee letter, which is currently under legal and financial review by Napoli’s management.
Once the financial terms are approved, Osimhen will be cleared to travel to Istanbul for a medical and formal presentation.
The 25-year-old forward reportedly turned down more lucrative offers from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, choosing instead to pursue his career with Galatasaray—a move seen as both competitive and strategic.
Osimhen is expected to be central to Galatasaray’s domestic title defense and European campaign after the club’s early Europa League exit last season. His permanent signing follows a highly successful loan spell, during which he impressed the coaching staff and fan base alike.
Should the deal go through, it would mark one of the most significant transfers in Turkish football history and signal Galatasaray’s intent to re-establish themselves as a major force on the European stage.
