Gift Monday bags brace, assist as Rinsola Babajide nets in Tenerife win over Sevilla

Nigeria duo Gift Monday and Rinsola Babajide put up star performances for Costa Adeje Tenerife during their 4-1 bashing of Sevilla FC in a Spanish Liga F encounter on Saturday.

Monday scored the first goal of the encounter for the host in the 22nd minute.

The former Robo Queens star set up her compatriot, Babajide for the second goal in the 28th minute.

12 minutes later, Ivorian player, Koko assisted Monday who converted her second goal of the game.

The goal spree continued in the second half as Bicho made it 4-0 ten minutes into the second stanza.

Nazaret Martin scored a goal for Sevilla FC in the 61st minute but it could not prevent a loss for the travelers.

Babajide saw 75 minutes of action while Monday played the duration of the encounter with a yellow card in the 85th minute.

Costa Adeje Tenerife moved to the third position on the league table with three points after two games.
