Giovanni Simeone praises Victor Osimhen’s finishing prowess in front of goal

Napoli striker Giovanni Simeone is full of praise for the qualities of his teammate Victor Osimhen, noting that the Nigerian makes life difficult for defenders.
The Nigeria international shone like a million star, following a record-breaking campaign in Italy, scoring 30 goals and bagging five assists in 37 appearances in all competitions to help Napoli to a first Scudetto in 33 years.
Osimhen’s incredible form kept Simeone out of Napoli’s attack this season despite missing one month in October and the latter, who had 17 goals last season praised Osimhen for his ability to create something out of nothing.
“It doesn’t seem like he’s always there, but every time the ball comes to him he invents something,” Simeone told Napoli Magazine.
“He’s spontaneous. He doesn’t prepare his movements, they come out of nowhere and this makes life very difficult for defenders.
“He knows how to find space and kick with great ease.”
Osimhen’s brilliance has caught the attention of top European clubs with talks surrounding his future, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, PSG, and Bayern Munich among the 24-year-old’s reported possible destinations.
