Football fans from across Africa and beyond are snapping up tickets for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, set to take place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 across nine stadiums in six host cities.
According to data released by CAF, France leads all countries outside Africa with an impressive 109,237 tickets sold during the first two sales phases — underscoring the nation’s deep connection and enduring passion for African football.
Belgium (7,046) and the Netherlands (5,958) complete the top three, followed by the United Kingdom (5,127) and Canada (3,849).
The rest of the top ten includes Germany (3,056), Switzerland (1,714), the United States (1,245), Spain (1,193), and Italy (970).
The strong demand highlights the growing global anticipation for Africa’s premier football spectacle, which returns to Morocco for the first time since 1988.
The North African nation — also a co-host of the FIFA World Cup 2030 — is preparing to welcome thousands of fans eager to celebrate the best of African football.
CAF has reminded supporters that a Fan ID is mandatory for purchasing tickets and gaining access to stadiums and fan zones.
The Fan ID system also simplifies visa processing for international visitors, providing a seamless, secure, and convenient fan experience.
Fans can obtain their Fan ID through the Yalla App, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and then visit tickets.cafonline.com
to complete their ticket purchases.
