Haliru Sarki: Nigeria U20 star joins top Arabian club, Al Ain

United Arab Emirates, UAE giants, Al Ain have completed the capture of Nigeria’s U20 winger, Haliru Sarki on a long term deal for an undisclosed fee from Nigerian club side Mahaniam.
Sarki was one of the star performers for Flying Eagles at the just concluded FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina where they crashed out in the quarter finals.
Sarki scored one of the goals that propelled coach Ladan Bosso’s side farther in the tournament and the young winger who is a product of an Abuja based academy, will hope to continue his progression with Al Ain.
Mahanaim announced Sarki’s move to Al Ain on Sunday and wished the youngster success in his new adventure.
”We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, Al Ain Club for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki,” the statement read on the club’s twitter handle.
