Henry Onyekuru: Super Eagles star reveals season ambition with Turkish club

Super Eagles’ forward, Henry Onyekuru has disclosed his top ambition with Adana Demirspor
which is to win the Turkish Super Lig.
The skillful player stated this after helping Demirspor to a 1-1 draw against his former club, Galatasaray during a friendly game.
Clubs are using the bream due to FIFA World Cup to get themselves in shape ahead of league resumption.
The former Monaco player said “Belhanda said something like, “I will cut your head off if you don’t come to Adana.”
“We are fighting at the top of the league and we want to continue with that, working with a great coach like Montella is a big plus. He gives me a lot of advice,” he said.
Onyekuru was asked if he would like to wear the Galatasaray shirt again, he replied as saying “Jorge Jesus is a very successful and valuable person. He was in Sporting Lisbon when I was at Anderlecht and he tried to get me into his team.”
“I played for Galatasaray before. I don’t know if I will play for Fenerbahçe or Beşiktaş from now on. It’s a personal decision.”
The 27 year old added that the goal celebration against Galatasary was intentional as it was to get back at the team for horrible time with them.
“There are moments like this in games sometimes. I had the same reaction because they hurt me. Because I knew the four-star thing would piss them off.”
