Ibrahim Olawoyin: Nigerian midfielder increases goal tally in Rizespor win

Nigerian midfielder, Ibrahim Olawoyin started the year 2024 on a positive note as he was score sheet in Rizespor’s 2-0 home win over Hatayspor in the continuation of Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The Super Eagles’ attacking midfielder ended the year 2023 on a positive note after scoring his first pair of goals.

Olawoyin, however picked his scoring boots from here he left then last year as he scored what put the game to rest in his side’s comfortable home win in the 82nd minute.

The goal has taken Olawoyin’s league goals to three this campaign with two asissts.

Dal Varesanovic handed the hosts a first half lead in the 19th minutes giving the spectators at the Estadio Çaykur Didi something to delight them.

The win has however seen Rizespor taking their unbeaten run the league to five and joint third with Kayserispor.
