Ifeanyi Ifeanyi bags brace in Qizilqum Zarafshon crunchy win

Nigeria international, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi scored a brace as Qizilqum Zarafshon crushed Sogdiana Jizzakh 4-2 in the Uzbekistan Super League.

Ifeanyi netted twice to lead his side to a comfortable win against a familiar side.

The Super Eagles midfielder broke the deadlock with his traditional long range strike in the 19th minute to give Qizilqum Zarafshon the lead.

15 minutes later, Sogdiana Jizzakh leveled the score line and Ifeanyi restored Qizilqum Zarafshon lead before the end of the first half.

Sogdiana Jizzakh restored parity at the start of the second half but Qizilqum Zarafshon scored two more goals to put the score line at 4-2 and ultimately put the game beyond the reach of their opponent.

Qizilqum are seated on the 12th position of the Uzbekistan Super League table with 17 points from 20 matches and will face eight place Bunyodkor in their next encounter on Friday.
