Ifeanyi Udeze backs Victor Osimhen to remain focus

Former Nigeria international, Ifeanyi Udeze has backed Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen to remain focused in his difficulties in finding the back of the net in recent games.

Udeze has gone four games without a goal at the club level and recently threw away a penalty against Bologna.

The Super Eagles forward threw his weight behind the striker, urging him not to be distracted but remain resolute in banging the goals.

“Well, in a situation like this, it is very important for him to remain focus and not be distracted by the fact that he has not been scoring goals for the club,” Udeze told Complete Sports.

“For sure, I know this phase will soon pass him by and he will rediscover his goal scoring boot for the club. I understand how he feels but I know the goals will come soon for him.”

The Partenopei are ranked seventh on the Spanish Laliga with eighth points from five matches.

Napoli will square up against Udinese at their next Laliga game.
