Ighalo and Ideye to Attend Omeruo’s Wedding on December 30
Enugu, Nigeria – Super Eagles’ star footballers Odion Ighalo and Brown Ideye are set to attend the highly anticipated wedding of Kenneth Omeruo in Enugu next weekend, according to exclusive reports from Completesportsnigeria.com.
Kenneth Omeruo, who is currently on loan at Turkish club Kasimpasa from Chelsea, revealed that a long list of Super Eagles’ teammates, friends, and other top celebrities have been invited to grace the occasion, which is scheduled for December 30th.
Omeruo, a talented defender, expressed his excitement about the upcoming wedding to his fiancée, Chioma Nnamani, a graduate of Enugu State University of Technology. He shared that he is looking forward to the event and is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Monday via a Turkish Airline plane after Sunday’s home game against Istanbul Basaksehir at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium.
“This is a significant occasion, and I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival,” said Omeruo in an interview with Completesportsnigeria.com. “The wedding plans are already set, and I will be returning to Nigeria after Sunday’s game.”
He further added, “Many of my close friends in the national team are currently on holiday, and they will be attending by the special grace of God.”
The wedding introduction, which took place on Saturday, June 10th in Nkanu, Enugu State, was attended by Omeruo’s family and friends, although Omeruo himself was unable to attend due to a match against South Africa. However, his absence did not dampen the spirits of those who flew in to show their support.
