Ijeoma Okeke shares Abia Angels’ grand plot to earn NWFL Premiership Super 6 slot

Abia Angels star Ijeoma Okeke has revealed her side’s grand plot to ensure a first ever qualification to the Super Six after the regular season of NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season.
The graduate of Human Anatomy from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu University was influential in her side’s impressive first round campaign as they have garnered ten points from six games to sit third on the group B table.
Ahead of the second stanza, Okeke assures that her side will double their effort in quest to achieve the impossible.
“My expectations still remain consistency. As we started the season with good form, this second stanza is not left out too. It is something am well prepared both in physical and mental aspect of it,” she told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“We will achieve our goal which we are already there. Every team out there is well prepared and we all have one aim and that’s to qualify for super six, likewise Abia Angels. So I must say we are coming out stronger than before to give out all our best.
“To be at the super six, that is our target and goal. Abia Angels FC is not just a team but a family and that is why we coming out as one family to represent not just that but as one of the best team.”
Following a decent outing in the first stanza, including a stunning win over Edo Queens in Benin, Aba based outfit will be banking on their team work and unity in team to book a spot at this year’s Super Six.
They will continue their campaign in the second round with a home clash on Wednesday against Nasarawa Amazons, who defeated 2-1 in the first leg at the Aper Aku Stadium a fortnight ago.
