Ikorodu City reach Round of 32 as Mailantarki end Kogi United Federation Cup dream

Lagos-based Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Ikorodu City made it to the Round of 32 of the 2023 Federation Cup following a 3-0 win over Crusader FC in Owerri on Wednesday.
Farouk Salami scored the first goal of the encounter in the 41st minute to give his side a 1-0 halftime lead.
Sabastine Godwin doubled the lead for Ikorodu City in the 64th minute.
Toheeb Gidado sealed the win with the third goal of the game in the 93rd minute.
Elsewhere, Osun United walked over Katsina United after their opponents failed to the up for the game.
Meanwhile, Mailantarki stunned Kogi United with an 8-7 win on penalties to also make it to the Round of 32.
The game ended in a 0-0 draw after regulation regulation time before Mailantarki sealed the win on penalties.
