Imama Amakapabo assures rejuvenation of Abia Warriors for new NPFL season

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Abia Warriors, Imama Amakapabo, has pledged to revamp the team and build on last season’s successes.

Abia Warriors finished as runners-up in the President Federation Cup and secured 13th place in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.

During his unveiling on Wednesday, following the signing of a two-year contract for his second tenure with the club, Amakapabo promised a purpose-driven team.

“First of all, I can assure you that you will definitely enjoy good football with me, that I can guarantee,” Amakapabo stated during the unveiling ceremony.

“We will have a team that will play with purpose and result-oriented football. At the end of the day, we will be able to achieve results, play on the continent, and also be able to win laurels.”
