Imama Amakapabo returns to Abia Warriors as Technical Adviser

Veteran Nigerian coach Imama Amakapabo has been appointed as the new Technical Adviser for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Abia Warriors.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach has signed a two-year deal with the Umuahia-based club.
Abia Warriors announced Amakapabo’s arrival on Wednesday, expressing excitement about the new partnership.
“We are thrilled to welcome back Imama Amakapabo on a two-year deal as our new coach. Show the gaffer some love and get ready for an amazing journey together again,” the club stated on their social media platforms.
At 54 years old, Amakapabo previously managed Abia Warriors during the 2020 season and has also led El-Kanemi Warriors and Rangers in the NPFL, famously orchestrating Rangers’ title success in the 2016 season.
The Umuahia based club looks forward to another exciting chapter under his leadership.
