Talented Abia Warriors’ midfielder, Innocent Godwin has assured management and fans of the club of positive outing against Lobi Stars on Saturday.
The ‘Umu Chineke’ side will be guest to Lobi Stars for the Nigeria Premier Football League encounter as
Coach Imama Amakapabo’s side lost their last fixture against Heartland in Umuahia.
The result has put a clog in the team’s recent impressive run in the league and the Super Eagles B invite for the upcoming African Nations Championship qualifiers against Ghana said the team will strive to correct the wrongs.
“Our last game at home was not good enough because we did all we could but our best was not good enough,” Godwin told BSNSports in Abuja.
“We are promising the fans and the entire management, our game against Lobi Stars, we will put on our best to make sure we come out victorious.”
The Saturday encounter will be decided at the Lafia Township Stadium by 4pm.
