International Friendly: Time and where to watch Mozambique vs Nigeria
By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria are set for their second international friendly following their 2-2 draw against Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Nigeria’s senior men’s national football team will face Mozambique at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira on Monday as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Both teams will be facing off for the first time since the Super Eagles’ 4-2 triumph at the African Nations Championship in January 2014.
However, Mozambique has picked up three wins and three draws in their past seven games across all competitions, except a 1-0 loss to Lesotho in the COSAFA Cup on July 10.
Meanwhile, they will play their first competitive match since the 2018 FIFA World Cup when they take on Botswana on November 13th.
Nigeria on the other hand begins its bid to qualify for the World Cup once more after failing to get there last year with a home game against Lesotho on November 13.
The Super Eagles are aiming for their fourth AFCON championship and their first since defeating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final back in 2013.
The Jose Peseiro-led team has now lost nine and drawn six of their last 15 friendlies since defeating Egypt 1-0 in March 2019 thanks to a goal from Paul Onuachu in the opening minute.
The match will kick off at 4 PM Nigerian time and you can watch live on the official YouTube platform of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as well as Supersport on DSTV.
