Ipswich Town Sign Princess Ademiluyi on Loan From Gotham FC

Ipswich Town have confirmed the loan signing of forward Princess Ademiluyi from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side Gotham FC.

The 19-year-old attacker has joined the Blues on a deal that will run until December 2026, subject to FA and league approval, as well as international clearance.

Ademiluyi moved to New Jersey-based Gotham FC in the summer of 2025 after a long spell with West Ham United, where she progressed through the club’s youth system to the senior team and made her Women’s Super League debut in May 2023.

She spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Charlton Athletic in the second tier of English women’s football before heading to the United States. Following her move to Gotham FC, she featured on loan for Fort Lauderdale United during the second half of 2025.

At international level, Ademiluyi has represented England at Under-19 level, earning 11 caps and scoring six goals. She was also part of the Young Lionesses squad at the 2025 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship, finding the net in the opening match against the Netherlands.

Speaking to TownTV after completing the move, Ademiluyi expressed her excitement at joining Ipswich Town.

“I’m really excited to be here,” she said. “I’ve heard great things about the club and I’m happy to be here and to be getting the ball rolling officially. Everyone is hard-working and the drive is there, so it’s an environment I feel like I fit into.

“I’ve had some great experiences over the last few years and I’ve matured in a lot of ways, which I’m now hoping to bring here. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the team and get started.”

Ipswich Town Women Technical Director Sean Burt praised the signing, highlighting the forward’s profile and experience.

“We’re delighted Princess has chosen to join us until December,” Burt said. “She’s a completely different profile of striker to what we already have and will allow us to add a new dimension to our game.

“She’ll bring a different type of threat in the final third, which gives us more variety in how we can attack. Having already gained significant experience at WSL level and coming from an elite environment in the NWSL, she arrives with a strong understanding of high-performance demands, and that experience will be a real benefit to us as a group.”

Ademiluyi is expected to link up with her new teammates immediately as Ipswich Town look to strengthen their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
