Italian football agent hints at Osimhen’s imminent summer departure from Napoli

Highly-rated Italian football agent Andrea D’Amico has revealed that reigning African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen, is set to leave Napoli for an English Premier League (EPL) side this summer. Despite renewing his contract last December, Osimhen has been at the center of transfer speculations during this summer window.
D’Amico mentioned that several top clubs have shown interest in the Super Eagles’ forward, who has a buyout clause fixed at €130 million. He indicated that the move could be finalized after the conclusion of the European Championship currently taking place in Germany.
“It’s too early to say, there is a clause and in my opinion, we will have to wait until the end of the European Championships: many want to study this competition because it has already happened that profiles emerge or important players are confirmed and therefore important goals are scored,” D’Amico told Radio Marte, as reported by Area Napoli.
D’Amico called for caution, suggesting that the deal might take longer than expected to finalize. However, he emphasized that the EPL remains the most likely destination for Osimhen. “In any case, I believe that the most likely destination for Osimhen is always the Premier League, with more than one club that may be interested.”
Osimhen has been Napoli’s top scorer for the past two seasons, netting over 40 goals and providing double-digit assists. His impressive performance has made him a highly sought-after player in the transfer market.
