Jamie Vardy channels inner Naija spirit to praise Wilfred Ndidi
By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has received praise from his teammate Jamie Vardy after delivering a Man-of-the-Match performance for Leicester City on Sunday.
The Foxes defeated Blackburn Rovers 4-1 in a English Championship match and Vardy channeled his inner Naija spirit to praise Ndidi with Pidgin.
Pidgin English is a mixture of English and local languages that enables people who do not share a common language to communicate as most African countries are made up of numerous different ethnic groups who do not necessarily have a lingua franca.
In the 4th, 28th, 82nd, and 88th minutes, Leicester scored goals from Faes, Jamie Vardy, Iheanacho, and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, to top the division with 24 points.
The Super Eagles star played for the duration of the game and assisted Vardy’s goal before being voted Man of the Match.
During the presentation of the award, Vardy spoke in Pidgin English as he told Ndidi ‘You Sabi’ and doubled down with the same statement on his social media platform.
