Joseph Dosu optimistic about Nigeria rewriting Women’s World Cup history

Ex international, Joseph Dosu is optimistic about Nigeria having a successful tournament at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The Super Falcons are grouped alongside co-host, Australia, Canada and Republic of Ireland in Group B of the 32-nation competition, beginning from July 20 to August 20 this year.
Goalkeeping legend, Dosu said the experience of the Falcons will count for them at the World Cup as he stated any team that underrates Nigeria will have itself to blame at the mundial.
“I am very optimistic the Super Falcons can make Nigeria proud at the 2023 Women’s World Cup because they are not new to the terrain,” Dosu told Complete Sports.
“We have players who are playing at the top level of football around the globe and they are determine to rewrite history which I am very sure they can achieve.
“Any proponent that underrate the Super Falcons will be doing that at their own peril.”
The Super Falcons are the most successful team in Africa and they will be making their tenth appearance at the World Cup.
