Joshua Zirkzee: Manchester United forward linked with Juventus move

Joshua Zirkzee, the Dutch-Nigerian centre-forward at Manchester United, has been linked with a move to Juventus in Serie A.

The 25-year-old joined United from Bologna on 14 July 2024 for a reported fee of €42.5m and remains under contract at Old Trafford until 30 June 2029.

Zirkzee has considerable experience in Italy, having made 57 Serie A appearances and scored 13 goals, while also providing seven assists. His previous spell with Bologna ended with a move to United after he had established himself in the Italian top flight.

Since arriving in England, Zirkzee has made 56 Premier League appearances, scoring five goals and registering three assists. He has also scored in both the FA Cup and EFL Cup for United.

A move to Juventus would represent a return to Serie A for the forward, who began his senior career with Bayern Munich before spending time on loan at Parma and Anderlecht. He later joined Bologna permanently in August 2022.

Zirkzee’s current market value is listed at €20m, although there is no reported probability or agreed fee attached to the Juventus rumour. The interest remains unconfirmed, with the player still contracted to Manchester United for three more seasons.
