Joy Omewa assists Fortuna Hjorring to victory over Aarhus

Nigeria forward, Joy Omewa bagged an assist in Fortuna Hjorring’s 3-0 win at Aarhus in a Danish women’s league match on Saturday.
Kaitlyn Prior Parcell scored the first goal of the encounter in the ninth minute of play.
Ashley Riefner doubled the lead for the visitors in the 27th minute.
A minute after the hour mark, Omewa set up Oda Sort who converted the third goal.
The former Confluence Queens forward saw 75 minutes of action and was replaced by Signe Christensen.
She has scored two goals with two assists in the league this season as her team maintained their perfect start to the campaign after three games.
Omewa has been a key player for Fortuna Hjorring since she arrived in Denmark after her initial loan deal which became permanent.
Fortuna Hjorring will next face KoldingQ on September 1, 2024, in another league match.
