Kanu Nwankwo assures Enyimba fans of positive, rapid transformation

Former Nigerian international and newly appointed chairman of Enyimba FC, Nwankwo Kanu has assured fans and supporters of the club of raising the standard and quality of the club.
Kanu gave the assurance on Sunday in Umuahia during his meeting with Governor Alex Otti of Abia State as he resume to his new assignment.
The former Arsenal star who appreciated the Governor for finding him worthy for the job promised that the People’s Elephants would experience tremendous improvement under his watch.
Kanu however solicited the support of all Abians to rally round the team and the new government in a bid to make the state great again.
Governor Otti who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Caleb Ajagba noted that his love for quality and excellence necessitated the decision to appoint Kanu as new chairman of Enyimba FC.
The Chief of Staff challenged Kanu to leverage on his previous achievements in the field of soccer to transform Enyimba to a greater team, reminding him that the eyes and hopes of people are on him to succeed.
Enyimba won the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL and will be representing country in the CAF Champions league.
