Kazeem Ogunleye happy to increase goal tally in Rangers’ humbling of Heartland

Rangers forward Kazeem Ogunleye is excited to make his contribution to the club’s brilliant start to new season just as he promised to give more in the coming Nigeria Premier Football League matches.
Ogunleye is Enugu Rangers’ top scorer in the ongoing NPFL season, taking his season’s goal tally to three on Sunday with his trademark long ranger free kick in Rangers’ 2-0 home win over Oriental neighbours, Heartland.
The former Plateau United player is being recognized for his screamers which he’s used to notched three goals this campaign and has expressed delight with the win as well as keeping their first clean sheet of the season.
“I’m very happy about the result, we’ve been playing games and always concede, I’m glad that we were able to win this match and with a clean sheet,” Ogunleye told the club media.
“We are still on course to achieve something great this season but we will be taking each games as they come.”
Asked about his trademark goal that gave Rangers the lead in the match, the young midfielder described it as reward for hard work in training as he promised to deliver more it.
“Yes, its a good feeling to get another goal, I usually practice that a lot at the training and I’m grateful to be getting it right in match situations, I wish yo give more of that to help us win games again,” he concluded.
Rangers are topping the NPFL table with 13 points but on goal difference ahead of Shooting Stars and will be taking on Sunshine Stars in their next game in Akure.
