The 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 is set to kick off on Thursday, July 4 through to Saturday, July 6 in Kaduna State.

The opening match will see two teams from Kebbi State trade tackles at the Murtala Muhammed Square.

Holders Kebbi BSC and Kebbi United BSC will open the season-ending competition by 4:00 pm.

Both sides secured victories when they met during the regular season. In the first round, Kebbi United earned a 5-4 win while Kebbi BSC edged their rivals 6-5 in Nnewi, Anambra State in the second round.

The game will be followed by host, Kada BSC against Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors.

Relatively, both sides won the last head-to-head games this year as Kada BSC pipped Anambra BSW 3-2 in the first round.

The second round match ended 8-4 in favour of Anambra BSW in Nnewi.

Each team will play round-robin games with the club that has the highest number of points emerging as the league winner.

2024 NBSL is the fourth straight season of the league which started in 2021 with Kebbi BSC winning the maiden edition and the 2023 title.

Kada BSC won the 2022 league title in Kebbi State after losing the maiden edition to Kebbi Fishers on home soil.

They hope to win this year’s edition at home to avenge their past loss on home soil.
