Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho is hoping to have a good experience at the English Championship side Middlesbrough.

The former Manchester City player completed a loan move to the Championship side from Spanish outfit, Sevilla this week.

During his first interview at the new club, the Super Eagles star narrated his passion for the beautiful game.

“I loved football once I was little, so it’s what I love doing, enjoying, playing, so I’m happy,” He said.

“All my journey from Nigeria to Manchester to Leicester, to Sevilla and here, so it was a good experience over the years.

“I’m really happy, and obviously, throughout that time to now, I have had ups and downs, and I’ve enjoyed it, and, yeah, hopefully, I will have a good experience here as well and enjoy as well.”

The English FA Cup winner hopes to bring his wealth of experience to the second-tier team in their quest to gain promotion to the English Premier League.

Iheanacho played for the Foxes in the Premier League before Leicester City dropped to the Championship and won the title last year staging a return to the top flight.
