Lewandowski is dissatisfied with Julian Nagelsmann’s style of play
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski isn’t happy with Julian Nagelsmann’s style of play according to reports from Germany.
The Bundesliga giants have a healthy lead at the top of Bundesliga after beating Greuther Fürth 4-1 but the team is still lacking in performances that has left Lewandowski unhappy.
Bayern insider and BILD journalist, Christian Falk claims that Lewandowski is said to be dissatisfied with the way the club is playing this season and is not a fan of Nagelsmann’s tactics.
The former RB Leipzig man has attempted to use five attackers upfront in recent weeks a move that has seen the Polish striker come to less dangerous goalscoring situations.
In November 2021, Lewandowski voiced his concerns about the team’s tactics when he said: “It hasn’t been easy for me at Bayern lately, situations to find a goal or spaces on the field. When you play with six offensive players and the opponents are very defensive, it’s not easy for a striker.”
Despite the complaints, the striker has gone to record some incredible numbers in the goalscoring front where he has scored 39 goals in 32 games this season.
The player however went for 90 minutes without a single shot on goal against Salzburg in their last week’s Champions League tie and struggled against Fürth in the first half and received a yellow card after a foul.
