Former Nigeria U-20 international midfielder Liameed Quadri has signed a three-year contract with Spanish club CE Sabadell FC, following a standout season with Lleida CF.
The 21-year-old impressed with his commanding performances in midfield throughout the 2024/25 campaign, attracting interest from several clubs before sealing a move to the ambitious Catalan side.
A product of Lagos-based 36Lion FC, Quadri began his European journey with Villarreal’s U19 team.
He later featured for UD Vall de Uxó before establishing himself as a key player at Lleida, where his versatility, tactical intelligence, and work rate earned him plaudits across Spain’s lower divisions.
Quadri’s arrival at Sabadell marks a significant progression in his career, as the club aims to strengthen its squad with emerging talents capable of pushing for promotion in the coming season.
The young Nigerian’s rise has been closely followed by national team scouts, and his continued development in Spain could see him earn further international recognition in the near future.

Since February 2018, Samuel has been the Social Media Manager for Nigeria's women's national teams.In 2019, Samuel joined the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a women's football content contributor and was promoted to Women's Football Editor in 2021. His contributions to women's football continued as he worked as a Media Consultant for Content Creation and Editorials at the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League. Currently, Samuel also serves as the spokesman for the Nigeria Women Football League, further solidifying his influence and dedication to the growth of women's football in Africa.
