Lobi Stars have announced that Lafia City Stadium in Nasarawa State will be their official home ground for the 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The venue, which is also the home ground of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Nasarawa United and NNL club FC Basira, will host the Pride of Makurdi as they aim to bounce back from relegation following a disappointing NPFL campaign last season.
Lobi Stars had previously played their home fixtures in Lafia during the NPFL 2024/25 season, after their McCarthy Stadium in Makurdi failed to meet the necessary requirements to host NNL matches.
The Benue State-owned club will kick off their new NNL season with a clash against City FC this weekend.
The 2025/26 NNL campaign officially began last Saturday, with FC Basira securing a 3-1 victory over Mighty Jets in Lafia.
