Manchester City lead RB Leipzig 1-0 at half-time in their UEFA Champions League fourth-round match at the Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, after an unfortunate own goal from Castello Lukeba.

The decisive moment came in the 37th minute when Lukeba turned a cross from Manchester City midfielder Nico O’Reilly into his own net, giving the visitors the advantage.

Manchester City have dominated possession, holding 66% of the ball compared with RB Leipzig’s 34%. However, their control has not translated into a significant number of chances, with the English side managing only four shots, just one of which was on target.

RB Leipzig made the brighter start and produced six attempts during the opening half, including two that tested the Manchester City goalkeeper. The German side also matched their opponents for touches inside the penalty area, with both teams recording eight.
