Manchester United legend advises Victor Osimhen to choose Chelsea over EPL teams

With several Premier League clubs asking for signature of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, former Manchester United star Paul Scholes has advised the Nigerian to choose Chelsea ahead of other suitors.

Osimhen has being in scintillating form this season scoring 25 goals in all competitions and helping Napoli inch closer to a first Serie A title after three decades.

The Lagos-born forward has been linked with quite a number of top clubs in the Premier League and Europe including PSG, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich among others.

And the former Red Devils midfielder has backed the 24-year-old striking sensation to join his former club’s rivals.

“I think Osimhen is a great player, but he would suit better at Chelsea. Lautaro Martinez on the other hand would be ideal for Ten Hag’s football at Manchester United,” Scholes told BT Sports.

Osimhen’s departure from Napoli will cost any would be suitors more as the Nerazurri are hell bent to cash in big on the Super Eagles forward with a region of over €100m.
